It’s snowing.
Again.
Seventh day in a row.
I’m not sure what’s going to break first, my back or my shovel but I’m getting one heck of an upper body workout this week I can tell you that.
It may be a pain to cleanup, but I do kind of love sitting inside watching it come down. Especially right now – right now it’s those giant, papery-type snowflakes that dance and swirl as they fall. Those are my favorite.
Winters like this make me so grateful for these boots. They are crazy warm, waterproof, comfy and cute. I looove this version – next on my list if mine ever give out (doubtful as I’ve had them for 4 years and they still look brand new). Bonus – they’re all on sale right now.
Also been getting a ton use out of . Got a gray one for Christmas and loved it so much I ordered another in brown. Super warm, they don’t constantly slide down into my eyes (a problem I always seem to have with hats), and you can’t beat the price point.
I whipped up a batch of these muffins this morning after shoveling. They’re delicious. I’ve already had two (or maybe three 🙂 ).
Are you guys watching This is Us? It’s so sad and so good and so fantastic. I can’t even. It’s the kind of show where you know you’re coming to the end of an episode and you just dread it because you don’t want it to be over. I always felt the same way when this show was on the air. I still think it was one of the best shows on TV. Ever.
I adore this pillow cover. Fringe and ticking stripe? Yes, please!
I sat in this office chair the other day and was pleasantly surprised. It was super comfy and the saddle colored leather was gorgeous.
This small bathroom makeover gives me all the heart eyes. The walls and the floors and all the white – so fresh and clean and pretty.
You all know these are my most favorite candles ever. I saw on Instagram that they’re having a sale right now – Eucalyptus + Sage, Woodsmoke + Amber, and Applewood + Birch are three of my absolute favorites.
Many of you wanted me to follow up on – LOVED it (if you liked Girl on the Train you will enjoy it for sure). I’m reading now – can’t say I have the same enthusiasm for it, but I’m hoping it will pick up. And I’m really looking forward to digging into – I’ve been hearing lots of good reviews.
And we can’t ignore the Olympics. The winter Olympics are always my favorite – I’ll definitely be tuning in over the next two weeks.
Happy Saturday friends!

I, too, live in a1939 home and love it. Most of the world doesn’t understand our logic but when you know, you just know. Keep up the good work on your blog.

I am new to your blog and am loving it. Thank you for taking the time to share your insights and creativity. I love what you have done in your home. So lovely. Warm and inviting, and livable. Happy weekend despite the snow! No snow, in my corner of the country, the daffodils have started to bloom. A sign of good things to come…
