Monday Inspiration

November 2, 2015

Happy Monday and Happy November!!

I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween weekend. It seems that the passing of Halloween is the unofficial kickoff to Christmas these days. I would be lying if I said my heart didn’t skip a beat when I saw the new Christmas displays at Target last week…

And I would be lying if I said I wasn’t itching to fill up my online shopping cart with lots of beautiful Christmas goodies over at Pottery Barn…

…I love Christmas…

…I really do…

I’m just not ready to love it quite yet.

There are still three weeks of the fall/harvest season to enjoy and I want to soak up as much of that as I can.  Thanksgiving is a holiday I always look forward to, and this year will be extra special since we will be spending it in Michigan with our families for the first time in five years. I’m super excited for that. 🙂

I’m sure as all the Christmas displays continue to fill up the stores, and pictures of everyone’s beautiful trees and festive homes fill up my Instagram feed, I will be finding myself more and more ready to “deck the halls”. I’ve already been blown away by some of the upcoming holiday decorating out there in blogland – crazy BEAUTIFUL, but I’m still enjoying the colors and spirit of autumn…for now. 🙂

So… I combed through Pinterest to try and find some non-Christmas spaces to share with you this week. Not an easy task, but here ya go! 🙂

I am completely smitten with those lovely old floors in that hallway. I love the orange wreath and pumpkin porch display.  But the bookshelves in the bedroom – LOVE.  It’s perfectly acceptable to have more than one wall of bookshelves in your house, right…? 🙂

Have a wonderful week!!

For me it’s way too early for Christmas. Love fall and Thanksgiving and then start Christmas. Seems we are always looking too far ahead and not enjoying what is now. Beautiful pictures!

I can certainly agree with that, Carol! 🙂

Hello, I’m Tonya
