Umm….it’s really, really hot outside.
Hopefully you’re hanging out in some AC and doing some blog reading this morning – that’s what Alice and I are doing. 🙂
First, I want to say a BIG thank you for all your sweet comments and lovely praise for my little home office. I’m so glad you all enjoyed how it turned out just as much as I did. You totally made my week, sweet friends. Thank you.
And now for today’s topic…
It’s book review time again! Yay!
I hit a bit of a slump with the reading just before the holidays, but I’m back in the game now. I read some good stuff last month. Let’s get to it, shall we?
I know this month’s book review is coming at you late and I was going to wait until next month, but I know a number of you look forward to these, so I apologize for it taking me so long. I was trying to get through my latest book to add to the review, but it’s just not happening. Guess you can figure out how much I like that one… 🙁
And since November is more than halfway over, I probably won’t do a book review until sometime in January – we’re heading into cheesy holiday movie season and that tends to cut into my reading time. I just love ’em. 😉
Happy Friday!
I didn’t end up reading as much as I thought I would last month – I got off to a great start with a really great book, and then kind of stalled out a bit with the second.
And then I got wrapped up in a design plan (I’ve been revisiting the office re-do) and when that happens I can concentrate on nothing else – it consumes my mind and makes me just a little bit crazy – but a good kind of crazy, so it’s ok.
Now I’m so excited to get started, because I really think I like where it’s headed. Finally! 🙂
Good morning!
There was a lot of positive response to my Summer Reading List, so I thought you guys might like to see a book review every once in a while. I’m thinking once a month I’ll write a little recap on the books I’ve read the month before, and maybe those on my “to-read” list for the current month. I usually read on average, three to four books a month – but I’ve also been known to get stuck in one book for three to four months – so there’s no telling how much variety you will be getting. 🙂
Regardless, I always love getting book recommendations, and most of my reader friends do as well, so why not share the love here too?
