I am all about using something pretty and simple to make a seasonal statement on the dining room table from day to day. My antique round table is on the small side, so it can be easily overwhelmed – plus, who wants to move a bunch of stuff out of the way every time you want to sit down at the table?
Not this girl.
So today I rounded up some of the ways I’ve added a little bit of fall beauty to my dining table over the last few years. All of them are simple, classic, and can be thrown together in just a matter of minutes.
A trio of candlesticks is always a winner – I love the soft, weathered finish of this set.
On your next trip to the grocery store, grab some fall produce for your cart and then gather them all together in a tray when you get home. Add a vase filled with berries or your favorite flowers and you have an instant centerpiece.
I like to watch for cider that comes in pretty glass jugs – that way when the cider is all gone, I have a vase to use around the house. Cotton stems are always a pretty statement – for any season.
Nothing says fall like pretty pumpkins. Can you really go wrong?
Or how about little white pumpkins and pine cones in a dough bowl or rustic dish?
For cozy warmth, fill a lantern with leaves, a few pine cones, and a simple candle.
What are some of your favorite ways to decorate a dining room table for the season?
