I love a good interior design book. They’re great resources when you’re in the market for some inspiration, and they make pretty décor when stacked and piled around the house. It’s a win-win.
One of my absolute favorites is Habitat by Lauren Liess. I refer to it time and time again.
Lauren’s style is such a gorgeous combination of warmth, texture, and nature. Traditional with a dash of the unexpected to keep it fresh and interesting. If you’re not familiar with her work, here’s just a hint of what you’ve been missing…
Hello beautiful built-ins, perfectly styled. You can come hang out at my house anytime you wish.
I mean, this room. Where does one begin? Simple, organic, neutral, effortless. Gorgeous!
Every time I see this image, I want to paint all the interior doors in my house black. Every. single. time.
Those floors! Those walls! I just can’t even.
I’m usually only about the white kitchens, but the warmth of this space really draws me in. I could totally live with it. 😉
The styling is so very on point. And there’s one of those black doors again.
The contrast of the stairs, the millwork on the walls, the sconces. Love it all.
Love the coastal/traditional vibe in here. Am I the only one with major slipcover envy?
Calgon, take me away.
I probably looked at this image ten times before I even noticed the TV above the fireplace. ‘Nuff said.
So pretty. So, so pretty.
Yep. I’ll take it all.

The style is simple and not over done and the rooms have character. Love the bathroom with tub.

Love her style. Do you have any sources for her dining room furniture? Love the chairs!

Aren’t those chairs great? I don’t know where they’re from offhand, but let me see if I can dig something up…

That would be great!!!
