Four Simple Ways to Style Your Coffee Table

March 7, 2016

Good Morning!!

I hope you all had a nice weekend. I spent a little time transitioning things over to spring around the house yesterday. The heavier pillows and throws have been tucked away and replaced with lighter and brighter alternatives, and subtle pops of green are starting to make their way into the house. I still have a little more work to do, but I love the light and fresh feeling from room to room now. I am so ready for spring.  🙂

So last week I wanted to do a post on simple ways to style your coffee table, but one thing led to another and I wasn’t able to get it all complete. But not this week! Today, I have four super simple and easy ways to bring a little pretty to your coffee table.

Four Ways to Style a Coffee Table - Rustic and Woven

You have heard me say this before – I love using trays on the coffee table. They make it easy to keep everything contained, and with one move you can easily clear the surface for whenever you need to make way for all those snacks the next time you binge-watch a little Netflix…House of Cards, anyone??

For this first look, I kept it super simple and all centered in the middle with a tray and a stack of books, all topped with an old silver dish filled with moss balls.

I love the simplicity of this and the mossy green is the perfect pop of color for spring.

For the second look, I used the same tray again, but this time I chose a pretty vase with a few floral stems, and added a small bud vase and a simple votive.

For the third look, I grabbed a large metal tray and decided to fill it with candles.

I gathered a few of those shabby book bundles to vary the height and add texture, and then dropped in my favorite wood beads to finish it off.

I love how all the textures came together on this look – it’s a feast for my eyes. 🙂

Don’t have a tray? No worries – you don’t need one! For this last look, I took a simple glass bottle, a few floral stems, a couple of old books and a couple of votives and voila!

Adding just a few simple touches to a coffee table brings an extra layer of depth and dimension to the living room. It’s also one of those fun spaces around your home that you can play with to change the look and feel of your room from season to season. So how do you like to decorate your coffee table? Which one of these looks is your favorite?

I love them all. The spring blooms are so pretty. They remind me of white lilacs, which I adore. You are always so motivated!!! Nice job!!!

I love the candles, that is so warm looking and I also love the clear vase with a little touch of color with the flowers and votives. But again they all look great!! I am looking forward to spring also, hoping it is just around the corner.
