How is it the last day of 2015?!?!
I swear each year goes by faster than the one before.
This year was definitely a year full of highs and lows for us. I do my best to remind myself to cherish the memories of the highs and learn a lesson or two from the lows. It’s my belief that it all happens for a reason, good and bad.
One of the big surprises for me this year was the start of this blog. I had been thinking about starting a blog for some time before hitting “publish” on my first post back in March (you can read that post here). A couple of years ago, I stumbled across Layla Palmer’s blog, The Lettered Cottage, during a random google search and was immediately drawn to her home, her style, and her voice. Before long, I was following a number of different blogs on a regular basis – each unique in their own way, but united by the passion for creating a comfortable, meaningful home and the desire to share it with others.
